I feel really bad about this review. The guy seems really nice, however the food was really bad. My kids and I tried to stomach it and are now regretting it. My son and I have food poisoning now. The pulled pork tasted good but the other meals were inedible. Fish seemed spoiled, slaw spoiled, burger even tasted off. I wanted to love it but will not be returning.
I’ve never had such an amazing roast beef French dip. Can’t wait to check out the rest of the menu. It seems like every order gets fries made fresh for each plate; no pre-made batches. Portions are huge and perfect for either repacking calories expended at Hatcher’s or taking home leftovers.
Fantastic burgers, prime rib philly's, fish & chips, deep-fried zucchini and much more! Jimbo's Food Bus is a must when in the Hatcher Pass/Fishhook area.
We've driven past this a couple times. Finally had an opportunity to try it. Absolutely WORTH IT! This is the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had and I've had a lot of pulled pork all over the US. Even the tots were perfectly salted and crispy. Jimbo's service was fast, delicious, and fresh!
One of the best burger I had in Alaska!!!!
I ordered what I thought would be a simple bacon mushroom cheeseburger. The burger that appeared in the window on an unassuming paper plate was absolutely massive, with the thickest bacon I've ever eaten cooked to perfection. All the fixins for the burger seemingly local and in excellent portions. The massive burger came with home cut fries cooked flawlessly and to top it off and set it apart, a wedge of watermellon. The food is amazing and cooked to order. A well kept secret that deserves more love.
Best burger and fries in my 23 years in Alaska. Perfect after hike/ride stop.
We ate here today after reading all the amazing reviews and seeing the 4.9 rating at time of writing, our experience was definitely not reflective of the other reviews as the food was absolutely terrible, the place itself is a fun venue with games outside but the food was almost inedible.
