I ordered seasoned cold noodle, Japchae rice with my friend. I want to recommend both of them. Especially cold noodle was good. This is spicy and sour and sweet. It's a suitable food in the hot summer.
Came in for dinner around 5pm on a Sunday. Plenty of seats available so got seated right away. The staff is really friendly and attentive. There's radish kimchi, danmuji, and onion as banchan.
Food comes out lightning fast! The jjangjangmyeon was delicious and the noodles had great texture. The sauce had a nice roasted flavor and the vegetables were fresh. I liked the amount of sauce that comes with this dish. I think the only thing missing is some thinly sliced fresh cucumbers on top.
The jjamppong was fantastic. Comforting broth, not too spicy, and hearty seafood and veggies. Love that they do the half and half version here with the jjajangmyeon.
We also go shrimp tangsuyuk. Love that they offer the sauce on the side. The batter is so light and crispy. Fried to perfection. The shrimp in this dish and the jjampong are not deveined. It's slightly off-putting but luckily didn't detract from the flavor.
Definitely looking forward to trying their other dishes.
Pretty awesome Jjam Bong noodle. It was cooked perfectly. Very happy with the taste and content with the service i received
I will return anytime to eat korean chinese food again
The taste of black bean sauce that I used to eat when I was young. Sweet and sour pork was really good because it was soft and not hard. A restaurant that I come to often.
Decent food with relatively large portions and friendly staff. I came here for lunch with my family on a Saturday and the place was packed.
We ordered black bean noodles (jjajangmyun 짜장면) spicy seafood noodles (jjambong 짬뽕) stir fried sweet and sour pork (tangsooyuk 탕수육) and fried dumplings. The noodle dishes were fantastic and the portions were very generous. The sweet and sour beef was nicely fried and fresh but the sauce needed to be a sweeter and was too thick from excess corn starch. The dumplings were not our favorite. We actually didn’t eat most of the dish because of the strong smell of meat emanating.
All in all, I recommend this place for a nice dining experience but again, I would not order the dumplings.
Visited around 5pm on a weekend and was empty right before dinner time. Filled up pretty quickly once we ordered our food. Ordered 간짜장, 짜장, 짜장 짬뽕 combo, and small 탕수육. 간짜장 and 탕수육 were amazing so should get that again when I go back. Portions were good too. Service was spectacular. We had young kids and they were really friendly and provided everything we needed without even asking. Would definitely come back.
The place was great. Palisades park never disappoints. The hospitality was great and their service was really quick. The food was amazing. We had the regular jjajangmyeon, the beef jjajangmyeon and the pork jjajangmyeon. They were all really good! We also had the deep fried dumplings. They’re so big! 9/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back!
The food was great. Always had tofu soup, bibimbap, BBQ or fried chicken before. This Korean restaurant has quite different Korean style to offer. Ordered two noodles, black bean and seafood, both tasted pretty well. The fried pork was quite crispy. The only thing is all the menu on the wall are in Korean, and the staff only talks to you in Korean. But you won’t have any problem to order.
